SwitchRTC Offers Technologies & Services That Make Adding Multiparty Video &
Few-to-Many Broadcasting To Your Application A SNAP
SWITCHRTC QUICK FACTS
Designed for enabling large scale, multiparty collaboration, broadcasting and video chat applications, SwitchRTC is a WebRTC based Selective Forwarding Unit (SFU) running on Amazon AWS or other on-premises/public/private clouds.
SwitchRTC is offered to vendors and service providers as an enabling technology that integrates into existing services and enriches them with collaboration features. SwitchRTC offers a commercial license with dedicated support giving customers a single point of contact for their collaboration and video needs.
SWITCHRTC ADDS COLLABORATION TO VOICE
Voice conferencing is the natural way in which businesses conduct meetings today. SwitchRTC helps you add screen sharing to your voice only conferencing applications making your service collaborative and increases value to your customers.
LARGE SCALE & COST EFFECTIVE MULTIPARTY
VIDEO CONFERENCING MADE EASY
Full-mesh and MCU topologies are not sufficient and not cost effective for large scale multiparty video and collaboration applications. SwitchRTC was built as a Selective Forwarding Unit (SFU) with a 1 to n architecture between the signaling and media servers. This allows services to increase capacity of conferencing sessions by launching additional media server entities in the cloud.
REAL-TIME FEW TO MANY BROADCASTING
Low delay broadcasting of real-time content is a challenge. SwitchRTC offers a geo distributed cluster of media servers that allow building a WebRTC CDN network for few-to-many real-time content broadcasting. SwitchRTC’s SFU media server cluster supports webinar, MOOC and consumer content sharing type of applications serving segments such as education, healthcare, consumer and business UC.
SWITCHRTC MAKES YOUR APPLICATION
ROBUST AND FUTURE PROOF
Different from other solutions on the market, SwitchRTC was originally designed for WebRTC communication and is using a dedicated build of the Google WebRTC code for the SFU media server that can be easily upgraded as Google's own WebRTCversions are released. This is a unique advantage of SwitchRTC as it benefits from all the latest advancements in WebRTC making it future proof and interoperable by design. Non WebRTCcommunication can be added to conferences through mediation.
